The fat flush diet is a combination weight-loss and detoxification (“detox”) or cleansing diet. It is a low-carbohydrate, restricted-calorie diet, which is designed to boost metabolism, decrease water retention, and promote loss of fat.

• 1 green apple (seeded and chopped)

• 1 thumb size ginger (cleaned and chopped)

• ¼ - 1 hot pepper (yes! Pepper)

• 1 orange • Juice of 1 lemon

• ¼ cup parsley, water leaf or coriander leaf

• 4 sprigs fresh mint


1. Peel the orange. Juice to remove the seed but do not discard the back (white part, not the peel). Chop and set aside

2. Combine all ingredients including orange juice and back in a blender.

3. Add ½ - 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth
